One of unsung Heroes of Southernmost India

We might find some of their blogs telling the natural beauties of Kanyakumari District and its surroundings. It’s hard to find a guy like Nagaperumal from southkundal a small village near Kanyakumari beach. Nagaperumal is a disabled guy with both the legs. I came to know him that oneday our marketing person got an paper for computer loan approval to us. I found his papers were good then and we submitted the quotation to the bajaj finance. After 3 days the Computer loan manager from Bajaj called me and told though the Nagaperumal’s paper were good but the standard of living was very poor. They rejected the proposal and I also don’t care much that time.

After 3 months Nagaperumal again called me to have a second hand computer atleast. But I told him that we don’t deal used computers and If something come to us then only we can move. To His luck one person asked me to change his old one with a new. I finished that deal and called Nagaperumal. He immediately sent me the money through a person for delivery. My staffs delivered the next day. After few days one day we went for a casual drive to kanyakumari. I met him and found his disability. I feel very sad seeing his life. He’s disabled by birth and His brother too was. The brother died two years back. But Nagaperumal is the only person who can read and write English and tamil in that village. He runs a grocesory shop, small bank, STD booth and now a computer centre. The students nearby the village get practices in that computer centre. He still wants to buy more computers and make it an internet and more visions in his mind.
